Helping the Forgotten - Giúp Người Bị Bỏ Quên
Statement of Purpose
To locate and assist disabled Vietnamese Veterans who became disabled during the War from the 1965 to 1975 period and currently receive no help from the government or private organizations;
To assist the children and grandchildren of such veterans to obtain basic education;
To assist the homeless and poor children with academic potential to obtain basic education;
The Board has the discretion to make special donations to charitable causes of particular urgence such as natural disasters, war, or other tragedies that affect large numbers of people.
Our Vision
Publicizing the plight of disabled South Vietnamese veterans in Viet Nam
Spreading concern and support for them and other most needy Vietnamese
Bringing both financial and compassionate support to the most downtrodden to raise their spirits
Our Programs
Currently, we support 200 disabled veteran families with $200 yearly since 2005.
VHF helps 170 other veterans not in the permanent group once a year with “one-time gift”.
VHF sent money to help our members affected by COVID-19 pandemic.
VHF also sent money to help other veterans affected by the flooding in Central Vietnam.
